Skyrink. January 12, 2008. Another for the WIN column. That column doesn’t represent the true perseverance that the team has been playing recently. This game was won with persistence, perseverance and wanting to get to the puck first. Keeping your feet moving and your head on a swivel. We won most faceoffs, most battles in the corner and we just plain wanted it more!
Great job to Anthony for getting a goal; Matt for getting a goal, Sandro for getting a goal, Ben for getting a goal. Many goals have been scored by the defense this season, which proves that we are using the points (and we have some good shots coming from there).
Great work from Jen, Steve and Rich’s line. Same goes for the Kevin G., Gordon and Evan. Howard, Kevin W. and Tyler for a great defensive game. I heard that we had 31 shots on goals to their 8 shots. We killed off two penalties, including a too many men on the ice. (Oops! Ah, memories…)
And let me not forget to thank Dinan who helped out as Christine continues her recovery from a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Buddy!!
