D7 Lose 3-1 to Moose

Skyrink.  December 29, 2007.   With the Dogs having a fill-in goalie, his 3rd time in net no less, they fought hard against another substitute goalie on the other end, pummeling him with over 40 shots in the game.   The only goal by the Dogs was an unimpressive breakaway by Matt Hall who put it in no problem.   Unimpressive because he was still standing after the goal.

D7 Dogs Lose 4-2 Against HH

Skyrink.  December 22, 2007.  The Dogs played a challenging game last week vs HH and Christine was just awesome in net.  Christine went to the hospital after the game to get checked up.   Actually, she played for another team after us and then went to the hospital. She’s tough!

D7 Dogs Defeat Blizzards 7-2

Skyrink.  December 8, 2007.  The Sled Dogs defeated the 1st placed undefeated Blizzards 7-2!  In the biggest upset of the season, the 5th placed Sled Dogs defeated the Blizzards in an amazing display of hockey last Saturday at the Skyrink.  Steve, still nursing the newly born twins, was reached on the phone after the game with the news and said “I knew the team was going to kick their a****)”

D7 Dogs Sweep Hornets 11-3

Skyrink.  December 1, 2007.   In an unusual game where Christine was playing for the Hornets, Steve was at the hospital for the birth of the twins and Doug was making his first appearance this season as an alternate, the Sled Dogs sweeped the Hornets 11-3 for their second win of the season.   Anthony, with his admirable smirk on his face, was overheard saying: “We’ll take it!”
