SKYRINK, October 20, 2007. It took Matt Hall’s theatrical stunts to swing around and around a blizzard player with one hand on his stick to score our only goal of the game in a 2-1 loss in our second game of the season.
With many players making their first appearance in many weeks on the ice, the Dogs didn’t look their best but never gave up the fight. Speaking of fights, Tyler was kicked out in the first period when he defended Christine against a slash on her glove after the whistle.
Christine kept us in the game with many defensive lapses in front of the net. Our transition game wasn’t better with forwards waiting for passes way pass the blue line. (We’ll review next Saturday before the game.)
We congratulated Steve on his getting married a few weeks ago. And we welcomed Kevin and Gordon to the team.
