Final Score Betrays Team Effort
SKYRINK, July 15, 2006 – What happens when you cross a pack of wild Sled Dogs with a hive full of Angry Hornets? A very competitive and hard fought hockey game, that’s what! Despite the point difference in the standings, the Sled Dogs did not back down from the annoying buzzing or stinging and played the dirty insects even for two periods.

Ardolino Stands On Head, Saves Game
SKYRINK, July 8, 2006 – Sled Dogs Goalie Dom Ardolino stepped up his game another notch tonight by stoning all four Storm snipers in the shootout to secure the Dogs second victory of the season. Howard Krulewitz tallied the lone Sled Dogs shootout goal reprising his exhibition game performance, paving the way for Ardolino’s heroics.

Merry-Go-Round On Ice Too Much
SKYRINK, July 8, 2006 – The Sled Dogs put their best skate forward tonight but couldn’t contain the potent Knights offensive attack. Cycling around the ice as if they were on a merry-go-round, the Knights pressured the Dogs and goalie Christine Overbye all game long and the Sled Dogs simply couldn’t get productivity from their transition game.
